At what point do things change?
My understanding has always been that in a relationship you grow. You get past petty arguments, disagreements, and not being able to talk to each other about things without starting issues over simple conversations. After a few years what happens of things don’t change. Should comfort and stability make you stay? What If kids are involved? What if you are married and can’t afford a divorce? How long do you wait for things to change? If they have been the same since day 1, do they ever change? At what point does your happiness become important? Would you rather be happy and alone or continue on this same path of mediocrity? Not growing or moving past pettiness.
Being happy in your life is important. Only because it seeps out into your everyday living. Having positive healthy relationships is pertinent to being successful in every aspect of life. Long time friendships, boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands, wives, any unhealthy, unfulfilling, standstill relationship can stunt your happiness growth. Don’t you want to be happy? So do you want to wait to see If it changes? At what point do you stop waiting for change and consider your happiness and success?
